Has the world gone mad? flicking through a certain 'classic' car paper the other day, there was a full page feature on the 1980s Rover 213/216, the boxy old thing based on a Honda (Ballade?). In a classic mag??!!! is this a classic after all, and I'm just missing the point, or is any old carp thats getting less common in Tesco's carpark good enough to feature in classic print???
I know they are 20 years old, but does being old suddenly make a car interesting, or desirable?

Looks like one of the many cookie cutter cars that everyone has been building the last 25 years |

I like the expression "cookie cutter." Its the first time that I´ve heard it, but find it typical american language use. Using an expression that means something totally different, but everbody still knows what you mean. Brilliant! |
