Hello,
I am a new vintage cycle enthusiast to this forum.I will post some photos of my bicycles if of interest?
I am working on a Raleigh Superbe which is in original excellent condition, but the mudguards are showing signs of rust under the paint.
To make the cycle perfect I wish to restore and spray them.I would like to know If anyone has the paint name or code? Regards Mark.P.S.(raleigh,rudge whitworth, vinco, sunbeam, runwell, hercules, pelo,)owner.

Hi

Some pics would be great!

I would say it might be worth getting a colour match to the rest of the bike, the good bits, even if you plan to spray the frame too in the end, you will get a colour that is conducive with the age it is, not a new one out of the factory. Taking any fading/differences in the paint from the code they said they used etc!

Cheers

Dave

I have a 1960's Freddy Grubb that needs a rear dropout welding
Know of anyone that can weld bicycle frames
Other wise the thing is in good condition

Hello, I have a metal fabricator in our local town who in the past has re-brazed the odd frame or lug for me.Any small business should be willing to do this type of work, but it helps if they are interested in your hobby,so as to help you out. Regards Mark.
