Every year around the 9th May a vintage motorcycle rally ( for flat tank machines) is held in Limeyratt, near Thenon in the Dordogne south west france.
It is a weekend event organised by local enthusiasts,with bikes attending from all over france.
They would love to see more british entrants in this event.
There is plenty of good food and wine,very friendly entrants,and a road run on the sunday.
The motorcycles normally pass by our house over there,as it is held in the next village.We have a steep hill in and out of the village so we hear the bikes labouring up the hill towards us!!!
The french magazine always covers the event.
We could arrange accomodation at our farm,bed and breakfast or camping.
