Yes, very sad. The machines list shows this to have been a proper coachbuilders workshop. Here was a broad based company and I know of a one make classic car specialist who has quit too. So both approaches seem to be failing in the current trading conditions.

And it will be doubly sad if no buyer is found for the big machines like the Harrison lathe, they will be scrapped.

A C Royle were a very important restorer and were famed for the restoration of Morses Jag. See the link for details (2005). Seems they may have been in trouble financially then.
