This has been seriously debated on another forum and I was interested to learn that the problem with any cover, indoor or outdoor, is that you must wash and dry the car before you put the cover on, otherwise the dirt on the car will transfer to the lining of the cover and scratch your car each time you put it on or take it off. I went for a Carcoon instead on advice from my Jaguar specialists who have a few for cars in store. I'll post after the wnter what I think |

This wouldn't be an issue as I would never dream of putting the cover on a less than scrupulously detailed car, let alone a dirty or wet one. God forbid !
The indoor one is to prevent cobwebs, dust and grit from the ceiling from contacting the paintwork whilst the outdoor is to be used on those occasions where the car is being used regularly throughout the day and, rather than put her in the garage (which is a bit of a squeeze/palava) its far easier to pop the cover on to keep the birdsh1t off........ |

Look on google, "London Covers "or a similar company.
I have purchased from these people at Jaguar or Historic events to save postage. Excellent covers.
The outdoor ones are ideal to keep in the boot when on rallies or tours.
It just saves so much time in the morning, uncover and your away.
No tree sap, dirty rain, bird poo etc.
I always purchase pure wool blankets or similar from car boots,1950`s or earlier are fantastic quality, ideal for covering up your toy`s etc. And cheap!!! |
