Maybe its only in Scotland but I dash for mute button for Co-Op adverts that have a painful boy who tells you they are "goood with foood"

My pet hates are not limited to regional variations though. I am equally quick on the mute for the closing words of the woman from Summerfield.

Has anyone noticed the "we`ll buy your gold" adverts!!Drives me bananas. So many firms want our gold at top prices--do people at the top know something we don`t! Conspiracy theory i think--until gold prices triple next year.I`m hanging on to my priceless trinkets just in case...

Cheers Ray the Rocker...

Tomorrow, Christmas day, it will be the usual Boxing day sales ads (furniture, kitchens, DIY, holidays). Sad

Agreed, very annoying advert that is, can't even remember what company use that song for their advert, but it's always on the TV Sad

Another really annoying one is the 'webuyanycar.com' advert that always seems to be on the radio, not sure if it's on the TV, probably, but what an annoying jingle Evil or Very Mad

Poser:-

Sky adverts take up more time than ITV etc., yet they still manage to fit an ITV repeat, with Sky adverts into the same time slot.
That means
a) I must lose some content of the programme.
b) Sky must make more from advertising.
c) So WHY am I PAYING Sky to watch truncated programmes
AND to watch extra advertising?
d) I am also paying for a magazine I do not want or read.

Well, not any more. I've kicked Sky into touch!

I'm glad you feel that way too. I think the averts are justas long as the program your watching at times. Mad I try and record most of the programs I want to watch, so then I can forward through all the anoying adds. Very Happy
