Hi
I am looking for two lamps, first is a working tilly lamp, for walking with at night, safety first and all!
Second is a working acetylyne lamp for a push bike, or maybe a parifin lamp of suitable size to be made to fit my penny.
Any one got anything, local to South Cheshire, or willing to post?
Cheers

I like the idea of the acetylene lamp, but can you still buy Carbide?
I've got a Tilley but as I am 12,000 miles from you, not very practical! _________________ Dane- roverdriver but not a Viking. |

Hi
Yeah postage may make the tilly a little dear! hehe
You can indeed still buy carbide, as a friend used it in his generator for his lights on an old car or two. A local camping shops sells it, that is where my friend got it from anyhow.
Cheers

You can still buy tilley lamps new.
My lad has a few, as he collects them along with other lamps and lights. _________________
