The detail is amazing. Some skill there. Apprentices made a lot of scale models years ago. I think some of the exhibits in Glasgow Museum of Transport were made by shipyard apprentices.

Hi

I do quite like models, was orriginally thinking of a half size, (6") engine, well making one, when done you could buy a decent full size roller, and have some left over for savings towards the house. See I have my priorities!

Suprisingly powerful these models!

Hi

This is already being watched, but it has been converted to internal explosion, simmilar to the conversions carried out on full size engines when the boiler needed replacing/repair, to extend there working life a bit.

Still a nice bit of kit, and probably over £10 or 15K cheaper than one in steam!
