Customs and Excise warn people living in the South East to watch out for illegal immigrants entering the country using a classic car. The car is believed to be a 1959 Cadillac and anyone seeing it should inform the authorities.

The bit that doesn't have legs is/was a '51 Chev..... Laughing

Copied the original caption Kabee. Thought it looked a bit old for a 59 but should have recognized the decal on the front. But then, I 'm not very good at US cars of that period.

Seems to have self-levelling suspension.

Perhaps the ultimate developement of the 'Dubonnet Knee' suspension system used on Vauxhalls in the thirties.

You're nearer than you realise PT - Chevrolet used "knee-action" suspension as well. Wink
