I am wondering if anybody "over there" recognises the 'van in
this photo.

The information we have "down here" is that it was called "Reo"
and was invented by a man called Mr. Brindell.
It was being made in Sydney Australia in 1934 and we are told
it was also being produced in England at that time

So far as I have been able to ascertain it has nothing to do
with "Reo" cars or trucks.
You can see from the photo that it was a fairly ingenious
system... as the sides were pulled down the roof was raised
by means of the pulleys and steel ropes.

Hopping somebody knows all about this little old 'van
