We are holding a classic car show on the 1st of September at plumpton college. All cars are welcome from old cars to modern classics up until the late 80's. We have a big crowd of classic fords, especially mk 1 & 2 escorts and some classic volkswagen vehicles coming down amongst some other cars. There is room left for individuals, club stands and stalls. If you require any information regarding our show please feel free to contact on here or by email to plumptonclassics13@gmail.com |

Hi
I have heard via BOC that there is to be a Classic car show on Saturday the 4th June this year in the grounds of Pangbourne College in Berkshire. The event is completely free and will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 4th June. Should anyone be interested if they contact tom.cheney@pangbourne.com and provide some basic details of vehicle model and year, they will send out a vehicle display pass for the day. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Rick - Maybe an idea to have some kind of a Show Agenda somewhere on the site? You could add all the shows that are now added on the Show News. This would be much more useful I think. One glance on the agenda for the coming weeks .... instead of reading all topics to see if there are shows in the next few weeks. _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

I have thought of doing this in the past, problem is it could end up being a huge overhead to keep it up-to-date, removing entries when shows are cancelled, altering them when things change, re-formating press releases sent to me so that they fit into the system ... see what I mean?! Plus would it be UK only, or European etc? It could easily get out of hand, sadly, although the idea has merit.

Agree it could get to be a lot of work. But it would work if kept as simple as possible, just UK shows with minimum of info (name, place and date(s)). It would just be an indicator, anyone interested can search for more up to date information. Don't bother with cancellations - not the responsibility of this site I would think.
I would love it! _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

will be dropping by Enfield pageant on first day of show 3rd year running. also went to Whitewebbs museum not far away couple of weeks earlier for the Rover club group meet. I go with brother and we. tend to spend more time walking round car jumble /market stalls at first. then. wander round all the club cars on display.
Though I don't normally take my. classic car along I intend to do so to the rover meet next year as its on a Sunday and traffic is light early on. |
