Hmmm, it could be a long list, but for the sake of brevity, these would have to be considered.

Original D-Type

Although I'd still put up with one of these

Perhaps more dignified would be this 2900 Alfa

But really if I had to pick one, it'd be the old green thing on the left of this shot Very Happy

I have several, none of them particularly exotic...

Morgan F2 three wheeler.

Bedford Green Goddess.

Some kind of old bus, like this ex-Eastern National Bristol.

Austin A35 Pickup.

And lastly a veteran car of some kind Wink

Very Happy

If I can put this into perspective, Richard, Given a choice between;

worth £500, and

worth 28.5m$ and spectacularly beautifull and did I mention quick.
And you would choose

I admire your loyalty Confused

I go along with Richard and his veteran - ideally one steam powered. I reckon that turning up at an MOT station that has just failed your everyday Kia for head lamp adjustment or a cracked number plate, with one could give you a deal of satisfaction!! Laughing

No not worth £500, more like £5000, and yes, exotic cars do absolutely nothing for me at all Rolling Eyes

Never really a "correct" answer is there? In the exotica range, an Alfa 8C. I had a ride in one once and have never forgotten it.

But in the realms of affordable cars, a nice early rubber suspension Mini Cooper S fully prepared would be usable, frugal and fun. Then there could be a Riley Pathfinder. Under rated if you ask me as a gentleman's carriage. Oh, the list could go on and on.

Hi

I too like veterans, my friend had his Star at Llandudno the weekend before last, thats a nice little thing. 1899 and still going strong! I think it might be at anglesey with us too this weekend.

Then like said above a steam engine of some sort would be great, I like rollers in general, a foden, and a nice road loco.

Cheers

Dave
