This arrived via the wire the other day, maybe someone can help Tony with his search???

Hi
I found your site on the web. My name is Tony and I'm organising the Centenary Vehicle Parade at Filton Nr Bristol on Sunday June 13th. I would dearly like to get a pre 1919 Straker Squire to the show. Built in Fishponds Bristol until 1919 this company was the beginning of the Bristol Aero Engine Company and the Centenary is the foundation of the BAC group of companies.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have contact with a guy called Roger Hanauer, they lived in Chiddingsfold which I think is somewhere in Surrey. They had an early rolling chassis Straker Squire which, at that time, were searching an engine for it.
If you're in the VSCC you might want to try looking him or his son, Robin, up.
