I thought I'd share the progress we are making restoring our Car Crusier Clubman. the first area tackled was the bottom corner in the kitchen cooker side. There was a leak in the corner which had rotted out the joint in the main frame. The frame had to be cut out and replaced, which was not easy working inside a small cupboard.
Next was the awesome problems at the front. Major rot found in the top right hand corner where the roof had been leaking for a long time, ditto in the left hand side. With water coming in and getting into the walls which had rotted in the corners and delaminated beyong that, it was a case of stripping the whole front down to the carcase.
The saga continues in part two. _________________ I can resist anything except temptation ! ( Oscar Wilde)
