bit of a dilemma really
i need to decide on what to do with the rims on my singer.
they would have originally been a sort of old english white but i really really fancy having them body colour.
i see loads of classics done with them in body colour

whats your thoughts chaps? originality or indulgence and personal preference?

Go with your preference. We are only talking about paint on the wheels, after all - if someone else wants to put them "right" when you're not around any more, it isn't going to take much work to do so.

EDIT - Plus of course they'll have all the fun of moaning about it!

I prefer a contrasting colour to the body on 50s/60s car wheels usually, and as that tallies with what it had originally I'd go with the OEW option myself.

Maybe do the wheels on one side OEW, and on the other side body colour, see if anyone notices Smile

I'm with Rick, I prefer a contrasting colour but I bought silver Minilite replicas for my Riley - originality doesn't matter at all to me.

I too prefer a contrasting colour, however you can do whatever colour you like, its your car and after all its just paint on the wheels, easy to change in the future if you ever change your mind!!

When it come to colours, get a woman involved, they are far better than us blokes when it comes to contrast stuff !

decided to go old english white, powder coated.
so, seems to be a few differing opinions on what the RAL code for OEW is? anyone got the definitive code?
