Hi Guys n Gals, we've come across onto this forum because collectors and owners of Classic Vehicles will recognise a Trident Companion for what it is, a collectable Micro Caravan and not some quirky little trailer.
I am a member of the Teardrop Club of Great Britain and we own, build or desire a Teardrop or Micro Caravan. (www.tcgb.tk)
We are desperately seeking a 1980's/90's Trident Companion to restore in time for next years shows and events.
This was produced by the Trident Company in two forms. The Freighter was an internally bare load hauler, the Companion was fitted out as a real micro caravan.
If you know of one parked up behind a shed, in a barn, in a neighbours garden, please let us know. We want to keep this beautifully designed micro caravan in existence, but we have been unable to locate one through our own channels.
Hence asking owners/collectors of other rare or collectable vehicles may we find one hiding away somewhere.

What an amazing looking little caravan, can see why you would want one.

We have a member of the club who has one for himself, but we need help in finding another to be restored for the club.
Any help would be appreciated. And I don't want to swamp this thread with images of other teardrops but you're more than welcome to pop on our forum and take a look at some of the others.

If posting this contravenes any club rules, please delete the image, but can we ask that the search thread is retained ??

And now back on with the search. We need to find one to get it stripped down over winter and refurb'd for next years shows.

I can add the odd few here and there if it's okay, but we don't want to detract from the search for a Trident Companion. Classic owners tend to spot these classic things, whereas Joe Public woudl just say "Oh that's an odd little trailer".
