|
|
Hello
I'm brand new to this forum so hope I am posting this in the correct place...
I have recently purchased a house with a caravan at the bottom of the garden. Initially, we planned to clean it up and use it as a play house for our children, however on closer inspection we have decided it needs to go.
We have been doing some research and have found that it is a Bluebird Cambrian and has been stationary at the bottom of our garden for around 40 years. Unfortunately, it can't be taken out of the garden in one piece as an extension was built, blocking it in.
Before we take it apart for disposal, can anyone confirm if this caravan has any asbestos?
Also, if anyone is interested in any of the parts, please get in touch.
Thanks in advance... |

Hello Clair, this brings back some memory's the first van i restored was a Cambrian , about in the same condition as yours is in , such a shame you cannot get the van out
There is no Asbestos in the van , but if you do strip it down do it carefully as someone out there will want the bits ! .....OVM |

Thanks for the advice OVM.
Unfortunately the neighbours gardens are also enclosed.
I will be taking care in removing any useable parts!
Thanks all. |

Hello,
I know it's a long shot as this thread was created two years ago - but I don't suppose you've got any spares left? I've got a Bluebird Cambrian awaiting restoration. The bit I'm especially after is the little Bluebird leaded window in the door. But plenty of other bits needed.
Just thought I'd ask in case, but not to worry if not. Perhaps someone else can help?
Kind regards. |
