That VDP needs too much work, the best one went on Monday night located nr Hounslow. It went for about £1350.00,one owner from new.very little work to put it back on the road.
I was offered it prior to auction at about £800.00,but did not need anything else for a few more weeks,so did not pursue the matter,I should have.
But good always comes out of bad .................
Went out Monday to pick up a 2 door white A35 for what I thought was for spares to finish off my other one.
It even had its original number plate, they are getting rare.
Got it home, had it running nicely the next morning, clutch worked, drives ok,everything works, interior upholstery, interior paintwork etc very good, good tyres etc etc.
Doors are like new,chrome good.
Ok it needs some exterior welding but only outside panels, bottoms of front wings, rear arches, one sill that is about it.
One family owned from new, very straight little car.
I brought it to break, but its better than my other one, because its original and not over restored,it has patina.
I am getting to the point now where I do not like over restored cars,I like originality, they have something about them that a show car does not.
I have both, but prefer my nice patina smelling cars best, its difficult to buy that.
When you a not looking for something, then out of the blue something better pops up.My week has been made.

I look forward to hearing from you about a panel supplier.
I have been in touch with Pocket Money Panel`s and Bull Motif.
Any other names of suppliers would be appreciated.
