I bought a splended hard rubber cased battery for the Aston following the advice of several of you on here to go to Lincon Battereies in Southend. Fits the spot perfectly asnd really lools the part...

Now the fun bit, I really fancy some period caps for the cells which have 'Lucas' moulded into them. There must have been millions of these around in years gone by but I suppose old batteries are not somehing people keep laying around because they got scrapped for the lead.

Anyone any ideas where I might look?

Rich...

The old style Lucas connections were an integral part of the positive and negative cables and unless you manage to get some new old stock or someone is remanufacturing them it could be a tough call.

I was never keen on these terminals as they would stretch and cause a poor contact over time
