This grille was used on a stock car in 1964. I have compared it with quite a few and cannot Question uind its match. It might even be a commercial vehicle grille.

First, a high-res photo of whole car:

Comparison close-uop of grilles.

I'd really appreciate any help.

I spent ages trawling google for you, closest I found is Rover 14, but I'm sure thats not it either!! Good luck anyhow.....

Or is it Morris 8 ?

Thanks for your two posts -- the Rover is very "close, but no cigar". I will keep googling. The badge is almost certainly a Delahaye, but the surround and 'crest' remain a puzzle.

100% sure it's not a Rover surround

Somone tells me the badge is a pre-war Delahaye --- but no closer.
