After taking out Classic car insurance with one of the leading specialist insurers, I was given a contact number for customer services which began 0843-----------. As my truck had been insured on a VIN number I promised that I would contact them as soon as a registration number was issued. I received the number by post on 22nd Oct and phoned the insurance company to give them the number.
First call lasted 12 mins. with no contact with a human being. Second call was the same outcome after 7 min. I called a third time on the 25th and after 13 mins, I spoke to someone.
My phone bill as arrived showing that those calls cost £3.09
I have found a normal number, which is a 0121 number and so is a "Local" call for me. Search for "08-- rip off" and I am sure you will find the same site that I found which gave me the companies ordinary number. _________________ 1964 International Harvester |
