I have known of this for the last 40 years. The owner is now 101 years old and is selling the house. This caravan has been owned since 1945 and the owner does not want to sell it but remain in her family.
When I saw the for sale board go up I contacted the estate agent to find out what is to happen with the Angela. The owners son contacted me yesterday and I went along to nhave a look at it. He told me that his mother wants it to go to one of his sons, currently living overseas. He would like it restored and had had one quote by a Cheltenham specialist in the South.
He wants it to be seen and would be prepared to offer it on loan to someone to take it to shows. Alternatively he would put it in a museum.
Is there anyone amongst the Historic Caravan lovers on this site who is interested in either rtestoring it or looking after it afterwards?
If somplease send me a pm and I can pass on the details.

I'd love to restore it too, but for myself not for someone else. _________________ I can resist anything except temptation ! ( Oscar Wilde)

I am sorry that I have not been able to reply to those members who sent me a pm as there is something wrong as the replies are sent to me and not to you.
I have asked Rick to help sort out this problem and will reply to you asap.

Well the Angela has gone off for restoration at Hartlebury Musem, which has the National Collection of Romany Gypsy Caravans.
See http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/cms/leisure-and-culture/museum.aspx
When finished it will be put on display there.
