hello , we are restoring a 1969 cortina 1600e see our blogspot http://cortina1600e.blogspot.com/

we are after advice or ideally pictures of the end of the sills we have fitted a new sill and are unsure how the end of the sill is attached to the wheelarch area , ( pictures taken from underneath would be great ) it would be great to speak to people with a cortina mk2 , especially original ones or cars that have been restored to concourse level .
the car itself has been striped back to bare shell , and is currently undergoing a complete bare metal respray and are hoping to build it back to its original spec . Any help would be great ..was struggling to get panels , just bought front panel off ebay .
Question 1 the car itself is fox silver , but has black boot interior , should this be silver ??
question 2 the headlining is black should this be white ??
question 3 we have took the underneath back to bare metal and would like to spray it in its original colour , but really it needs a product like stone chip, before we spray it . but do not like the finish , what would anybody advice ??? GREAT FORUM by the way [img][/img][img][/img] |
