At a car boot a few weeks back I bought a couple of old brass oil syringes for £1.
I made some new washers out of an old leather glove and soldered in a length of copper brake pipe on the end.Using a fine hacksaw blade I cut down the brake pipe about 1/2 inch in a cross so that the end looked like the rear of a dart where the flights slide in.I nipped the end together and put a blob of solder on it to hold it together. The gun will suck up rustproofer (diluted with white spirit if it's cold) and squirts it out the end in four fine jets at right angles to the pipe.
I found all sorts of screw and bolt holes to poke it into on my cars and the fine spray can be seen coming out of other access holes etc.
It avoids drilling holes everywhere and takes only a second to use rather than the more complicated compressor and rather clumsy sprayer I normally use.
