Anybody knows a firm or someone who stocks parts for perkins engines.
A friend of mine is after the metal (probably copper) O ring that sits flush between the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe.
Would want around 4 or 5 of them.

Checked on the internet and ebay but found nothing yet!!

No one has any idea where I could find these?
This engine is fitted to a very nice and original 1949 Bedford O series truck, and its a shame it cant be used because of such a small part!!

I'm not sure whether they go back to the O series, but it'd be worth asking this company:

Sorry forgot to mention that the engine is not original fitment, originally the truck was fitted with a straight six petrol, but it was and still is a working truck so going back to the original engine is not an option.
NExt time I'm there I'll take the camera with me and take some pics to post on here!!

I know a few tractor folk who seem to have no problems sourcing Perkins parts. I do not know much about Perkins engines, but wondered if the engine was fitted to any tractors then those specialising in that market might be able to help.
Don't Perkins themselves support this engine?

Didnt find much on the net re that particular engine!!
Found a lot of perkins parts but not a lot for that engine and of course nothing similar to the part wanted!!
It would be easier if he had an old one, surely it could be fabricated but he does not have one either!
However the tractor route had not crossed my mind so it worth trying at least.
Thanks Paul
