Lanchester motor cars of Coventry.
Lanchester is just one of many old British marques that have long since disappeared into the history of motor-car manufacture. The pieces of paper on this page date to 1933, and are invoices once issued by the Lanchester Motor Company Limited to its customers, in this case Balgores Motors, of Gidea Park in Essex.
The advice note above, dated 15th June 1933, confirms payment received for 1x 1 gallon can of s/c (straight cut?) Gear Oil, and a 5 gallon drum of Lanchester engine oil, order by Balgores Motors late in May.
