1960s Triumph Spitfire Ashley GT.
Take one Mk3 Spitfire and remove the roof and bootlid. Fit a fastback fibreglass roof and voila - your own (albeit 4 cylinder) GT6! I saw this one in Devon some years ago. I fitted one of these Ashley roofs to my own Mk3 briefly but the boot seal wasn't too good and exhaust fumes would suck into the cabin. I managed to find a proper works hardtop instead so the Ashley roof went.
