Ford Coupe Utility.

Many special bodies were produced by the Australian local bodybuilders to be fitted onto British (and other country's) vehicle chassis. This particular ute (coupe 'utility') is based on the E493A Prefect from the early 1950s and will have been imported from Australia in recent years. Note the fab indicator arm fitted to the driver's door on this coupe ute. Alongside is a 300E Thames van.

Ford Books Whether for the Coupe Utility as shown below, or any other type of Ford, it is worth having a look on Amazon for books, DVDs, Videos etc.

Classic lorry and van photos from the Gaydon truck show.

Ford Coupe Utility photograph.
In addition to the Ford Coupe Utility shown above, were many other classic and vintage lorries, both large and small. I've featured 85 of the photos I took at this particular show, held at the Gaydon motor museum in Warwickshire, in 2005. Whether you're a fan of all Fords, or just Coupe Utilitys like the one shown here, I'd recommend a visit to this show.

If you can shed any more info on this Coupe Utility picture, I'd be interested to add to the information I have on this particular Ford, thanks.

All the pics shown in this section were taken by myself, at Gaydon in 2005.

Further pics of classic & vintage lorries (and the occasional American truck!) can be seen on the main Gaydon show page.
