On the stage at Croft during the '74 RAC Rally: Lancia Stratos
Liveried in the classic Marlboro Lancia Italia colours is this Stratos piloted by Sandro Munari and M. Mannucci. The Stratos must be one of the first purpose-built rallycars - a glimpse of how things would be in the future.
I must say a big thanks to Rob Ryder who took these photos during the 1974 event, and kindly agreed to them being featured on oldclassiccar - thanks Rob! If anyone else out there has photos like the picture of a rally-prepared Lancia Stratos above, whether featuring rally cars or other types of motorsport events, it'd be great to feature them here like this.
