Classic Delorean DMC2.
Yup the car made famous by the Back to the Future films. A product of John Deloreans manufacturing plant set up in Northern Ireland. The stainless steel gullwing-doored DMC2 didn't sell particularly well (despite assistance from Lotus and UK government funding) and the company soon folded. This one dates to 1983. Not the oldest car on show by any means but definitely one of the most (in)famous perhaps.
Delorean Books Whether for the DMC2 as shown below, or any other type of Delorean, it is worth having a look on Amazon for books, DVDs, Videos etc.

DMC2 on display at Tatton Park, Cheshire.
If you have any more info or restoration stories about this particular DMC2, or DMC2s in general, I'd really like to feature it on oldclassiccar.
I took all these photos at the classic & vintage show held at Tatton Park, in June 2005. The Delorean shown above was one of several hundred vehicles held in the grounds of this National Trust property.
