Rover 2000 photograph.
The P6 2000 model was launched in the mid 1960s and soldiered on into the 1970s when it was eventually replaced by the radically different SD1. This is a 1966 example and is readily identifiable as an early car by its stainless grille - later cars had a chunky black plastic job. The 2000s have a 1978cc four cylinder engine.

Can you tell me any more about this Rover 2000? If you're into these cars, or other types of classic Rovers, and would like to see your car featured in the Your Car Stories section at oldclassiccar, by all means get in touch as I'd like to feature as many original or restored 2000s as possible.
All the pictures featured here were taken by myself at the August event in 2004.
