Connaught enjoyed some success with their Lea-Francis powered racing cars during the fifties. This model is one of my favourites, not a car ever covered by the Dinky range as far as I know. My old transporter used to occasionally transport a Connaught like this to races across the UK for R.D. Poore, when not racing his pre-war Alfa Romeo. Measures: 100mm in length. Approximate value 25-35 GBP.

Colour: green, solid metal spoke-effect hubs, rubber tyres, loose driver, cream riveted base
