Maserati 2.5litre G/Prix car by Crescent Toys
Firstly, thanks to Michael who emailed over the photo above, showing the toy Maserati that he has in his own collection of Crescent toys - obviously another diecast racer I'll have to keep my eye open for. Painted up as car No.3, his Crescent Maser is in very tidy original condition, and all the better for not being repainted! It is based on perhaps the most revered of all the racing Maseratis, the classic 250F.
Measures: 100mm in length. Approximate value £25-£30
Colour: red, solid metal spoke-effect hubs, rubber tyres, loose driver, cream riveted base
