Dinky Toy Talbot Lago code 230
More information on this classic Talbot Lago from Dinky toys
The Talbot Lago by the mid 1950s was largely outclassed by fearsome opposition from both Italian and German teams, and is modelled here in the correct colour blue, the national racing colours of France. Its regular drivers included Philippe Étancelin, along with Louis Rosier, Chiron, and Johnny Claes. Etancelin was a distinctive character, well known for racing with a flat cap worn backwards. The T26C faded from international competition by the mid 1950s. This Dinky model originally came as code 23k before becoming code 230.
Measures: 103mm in length. Approximate value £10-£15
