More information on the Type B Connaught Dinky toy
An unusual subject, the streamlined Connaught racer from the mid 1950s. The first of the Type Bs was destroyed during a race at Aintree, the car being rebuilt with a conventional open-wheeled body. Seven Type Bs were produced in all, and piloted by drivers such as Archie Scott-Brown, Jack Fairman and Ron Flockhart. More about Connaught can be found here.
