Engines back then werent expected to cover the mileage that todays cars can manage between major overhauls. HML were obviously proud of the rebuilt engines they could supply for both Vauxhall and Bedford operators. Exchange engines were available from £30. Hamilton Motors operated from Edgware Road and the Harrow Road in London. With a whopping 12 telephone lines available they must have been a busy place.
