Adler 2 Litre Cabriolet.

Some research online confirmed that this is a pre-war Adler automobile, most probably a 2 Litre Cabriolet EV by Karmann. Who the people stood with the car are I do not know, although I'm told that the number is a British Zone (Germany) plate of the 1940s. The chap standing behind the Adler appears to be a British Army officer. If any more information, including confirmation of the model shown here (could it be an Adler Trumpf?) turns up, I'll add it in here.
