Seen outside a garage up in Brora (might be Golspie), today.

I was attracted by the glimmer of yellow of the Fiat 126

Here are a few photos of only some of the cars and trucks standing fast in Terowie. They are in an open yard most have been well canibalised for parts. The yard belonged to the the local tow truck operator who also ran the garage. Most are Aussie breeds but there are a few exotics amongst them
I will have to make more of an effort next time to get some more quality shots.
Anyway here they are.

Is this one beyond all hope? Probably
This old car is just on the outskirts of Silverton - (near Broken Hill NSW).
It has had a hard life, no glass, no trim and has been used for rifle practice.
Engine bay has been ratted big time.

Excellent spots! The abandoned car that's been used for target practice is a mid 1950's Austin A90 Westminter. The inner wings don't look too bad on it! _________________ Richard Hughes |

This has caught my eye previously at the Highland Folk Museum at Kingussie (recommended visiting)

It is part of an exhibit of a typical old Highlands garage and just lies abandoned realistically (a bit too realistic!) outside. |

That's a sad sight Exactly what happened to my A55 in the mid 80's, it was abandoned in a field in Hockley with a load of other cars after having its number robbed but was fortunately saved by an enthusiast. _________________ Richard Hughes |
