Weather not so warm as last month, but still an interesting mix of old cars turned up:

A dark silver Bentley fixed head saloon came past home yesterday evening, I wondered if it was coming over to the Bhurtpore. Unusually I didn't see anything as I got into Nantwich, there's usually something on the way through.

From yesterday evening, several cars I'd not seen before turned up, including an imposing 8-litre Bentley and a rare MGA Twin Cam.

A few snaps from last Thursday, including a link to aerial drone footage (!).

I like the idea of those drones, there was one at Malpas last year though I don't remember seeing it this year. I like the idea though I think there are some licenses required, and insurance in case it plummets out of the sky onto someones Bugatti.

Soggy weather didn't put off the hard-core contingent of VSCC Bhurtpore attendees on Thursday. Amongst the regulars was a wonderfully "oily rag" Humber, apparently it belongs to a new member in the area.

These taken with a borrowed camera:

Yesterday evening's meet included a 25 mile road run, which - thanks to the fine weather and choice of quiet lanes - was a very pleasant way of spending an hour or so.

The weather for the most part yesterday was pretty miserable. However at 6pm the clouds cleared and a fine evening beckoned, just in time for this month's pub meet.

A few photographs ...

I love the "insurance" here! Once you are on your second puncture with the Sunbeam car you always take to the Sunbeam bicycle.

Hi
The black car with twin lozenge shaped rear windows is interesting, don;t recognise it, but it is a Riley looking at the front on view.
What model is it?

Styles lists it as a 9h.p. Falcon. The chassis no gives a date of 1933.
