Hi all,

Anyone planning to attend a NYD gathering with an old car, van, motorcycle or whatever?

There's a VSCC-organised gathering at the Dusty Miller, Wrenbury (Cheshire) tomorrow NYD from about 11am, *all* vintage and classic cars and their owners welcome. Directions etc on their site: http://www.thedusty.co.uk/

Given the Dusty Millers immediate proximity to water, is it an amphibious event? Smile

I may be there, dependent on how tonight goes !!! In the MGA or possibly the CA.

Cool, it'd be neat to see the CA especially Smile (having seen the A a few times now!)

Went down to Leicester for the Pre War Austin 7 Club's gathering - about ninety miles round trip.

Took this photo on the way, and then the camera died, so no pics of the meeting Crying or Very sad

Thanks,

That meeting at The Dusty Miller looks perfect pity it's in Cheshire - well not if you live in Cheshire but long schlep for me from Berkshire Very Happy I didn't go to Brooklands, glad I didn't from looking at the posts on FB there were mile long queues, 1,500 cars and 7,000 people Confused Not my idea of a relaxed meeting. I wonder if the VSCC chaps do anything in the South/South East?

Really enjoyed the Dusty Miller meet - great photos Rick which sum it up well. Even my Alvis shows!. Excellent venue which served a superb lunch not forgetting the free mulled wine on arrival.
The best New Years day event I have attended over the years.
