Spotted in Home Bargains this afternoon, boxes of 100 disposable vinyl gloves for only £6. They've not been available for a while anywhere so this is a welcome development - there are some filthy jobs I've been putting off that I can now get on with. It took me over 60 years to enjoy the benefit of wearing work gloves, from cheap and cheerful for painting, to the stronger vinyl types for dealing with those dirty, greasy, oily crud infested jobs. Leather gloves when welding, general purpose for most yard work, light and well insulated gloves take away some of the -20C pain and Kevlar Specials because chain saws cannot distinguish between wood and flesh. |
