I cant seem to find it now but someone was asking about in-line classic fuel filters I found some on the Vintage car parts site.

Its a great shame these were discontinued - I have them on on P4 and P5 Rovers and S2 LR.
They catch silt, fine sediment, rust particles and water and can be quickly and easily observed and then cleaned out - just be careful not to drop the glass bowl - they are thick but do break _________________ Rover P2

The web site says they have glass bowls too should you break any.

What a wonderful invention that glass filter was...any ammount of dirt or swarf----trapped in the sediment bowl as long as you remembered to clean it out regularly !! Also an ace up your sleeve if you suffered with those top fillers ie--PA velox or crestas.Always seemed to let in copious ammounts of water !!!
