Last week I popped over to The Wharf for their annual old-car gathering. As with last year's meeting (photos: http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14145) the turnout was mighty impressive, especially as (or perhaps because of...) a popular f***b*** tournament was kicking off - literally - on TV at the same time I hear.

I was at that too Rick, saw your car (and a few others I knew) but didn't see you at all. A lovely event, great weather, but wouldn't it have been a lot smoother if they'd put a few more staff on the bars?

Funny, I thought I may have spotted you from a distance briefly, but looked again and you'd moved. Did you notice Norman Dewis (1950s Jaguar test driver) mooching around?
