Series 1 XJ6 accelerates out from a corner. Note the bonnet grille relieved of some bars to aid cooling and lighter, XJR type, alloy wheels.

Side view showing the lowered and lightened S1 XJ6, unnecessary items such as window quarterlights, bumper overriders and other chrome trim have been removed .
