Blue and black Morris 8.


A picture of this car seen from behind features in the 2005 show photos I added to this site a while back. So I thought it was about time I show the front of the same car. This Series 1 Morris Eight (8hp) was built in 1936 and was their answer to Austin's popular Ruby model.

The 2006 running of the Audlem Festival of Transport took place on 30th July, and was the seventh time it had been held. The Morris 8 in this photograph was photographed during our day at this classic event held in Cheshire. All sorts of cars, motorcycles and tractors were on display, including a few light commercials for good measure.
