I've always had a soft spot for the Majestic and Majestic Major since I found a pair of sad examples some years ago. I was bowled over by the interior appointments although the terminal rot underneath was a trifle worrying. I never did buy these Daimlers and as far as I know they were both scrapped in the early 1990s. 866 TPF is a 3.8 litre Majestic from 1961. The Majors had a larger boot and came with the epic 4.5 litre alloy V8 under the bonnet.
