Cholmondeley Castle September 2005
Despite a slightly misty start to the day, the weather soon cleared and this interesting car show proved to be a real success.
Held in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle, this varied show proved to be well worth a visit, and a great selection of cars was present. There were no large commercials at this show, perhaps due to the narrow bridge that needs to be traversed by show entrants.
A variety of classics on show
There was something to suit most tastes, although the generously sized club stands allocated to enthusiasts of quite recent cars did rather take centre stage, with the general older-car sections (1940s/50s especially) relegated to the furthest outposts of the showground. Still, this meant fewer crowds around the proper old metal, and more opportunity to take photographs!
