David Brown VAK 1 tractor.
Preserved in very original order is this DB tractor from 1944. This model (Vehicle Agricultural Kerosene - hence VAK 1) was the forerunner to the popular Cropmaster tractors. This is a late Series 1 example. This particular example came with the optional power lift and PTO drive.

Restored & preserved vehicles at Sandbach Festival of Transport.
Photographed here is a preserved David Brown VAK 1 tractor that took part in the vintage vehicle event held in Sandbach. Mid way through the day, there was a run around the streets of this Cheshire town, and many vehicles took part. Some boiled up on this hot sunny day, but most completed the journey without a problem.
