The Coronation Electric Car Lift. As supplied by Laycock Engineering Co. Ltd. Unsurprisingly this advert showing a sizeable pre-war motorcar dates to the Coronation year 1952. It would only take 75 seconds to raise the largest of cars on this new electric car lift. The lift was powered by a 1.5hp electric motor. Laycock Engineering was located in Sheffield Yorkshire. |
