Land-Rover Series 3.
In the late 1970s, I visited our local British Leyland dealer on a number of occasions, to acquire whatever brochures I could lay my hands on. Included amongst them was the subject of this page's video, a 1979 brochure for the Land-Rover 88" and 109" wheelbase versions, aka the Land-Rover Series 3, which had made its debut in 1971 and continued in production with few significant alterations until 1985.
The brochure goes into great detail regarding the Series 3's interior, engine options, chassis design and optional accessories list, and explains why this era of Land-Rover did so well for the company, selling alongside the Range-Rover. I'd welcome comments over on Youtube from anyone who's a fan of the classic "Series" Land-Rovers such as this.
